Treebrush Alchemy – fragrant magic!

Treebrush Alchemy is Treebrush Apothecary’s new home fragrance range. Who doesn’t love a little bit of magic in their favourite spaces? These 100% soy wax candles feature both Treebrush Alchemy’s own custom fragrance blends and our all-star favourites set in strong, heat safe amber jars with metal lids. You’ll get approximately 45 hours of burn time out of the big 200mL jars, and around 20 hours out of the wee 100mL ones.

Our soy wax candles come in the following unique fragrances:

Black Raspberry & Vanilla

Easily one of the most popular fragrances at Treebrush Apothecary, this mouthwatering take on a raspberry fragrance leans further into the rich, sweet nature of raspberry with a discernable “sherbety” kick. You’ll find hints of black cherry, plum and strawberry among the raspberry, with a musk, sugar and vanilla finish.

“Christmas Eve”

If you fancy a change of pace from Aotearoa’s long summer days over Christmas, this one will plop you in front of a log fire with honey roasted almonds, cognac, all the requisite seasonal spices and a swill of vanilla. Among the many notes you’ll find here are orange peel, cinnamon, clove bud, cedar, sandalwood, tonka and all things cosy.

“Down with the Figness”

This one hits with the force of a rockstar. Rich and mouthwatering fig, brown sugar, apple, peach, tangerine and melon round out the summer fruit notes, followed by a hit of rich vanilla, buttercream and warm spices.

Frangipani

Simple, but an absolute classic. Freshen up your space with this subtle floral bouquet and dream of warm sunny days. Among frangipani, of course, you’ll also find notes of orange, lily of the valley, jasmine and a tiny hint of rose.

French Pear

Even more of an absolute classic, and one of Treebrush Apothecary’s most popular fragrances; French Pear does even better as a candle than it does as a moisturiser! Sweet poached pears with syrup and spice.

Guava & Lychee

A rockstar part of the Treebrush Apothecary lineup, Guava & Lychee is in just about everything – including “The OG” fragranced moisturiser, “Thiccboi” weapons-grade hand cream, “Good Vibes” soy wax melts, “Anti-Grav” herbal foot & bath soaks, and our range of car diffusers. This sweet summery ray of sunshine deserves a place in our candle range too! Notes of lychee, lime zest, guava, peach, coconut flakes and vanilla.

“Lime in the Sand”

Can’t avoid the Dad Jokes around here. Light, lively and wonderfully summery, this one will take you to distant shores. Notes of fresh coconut, kaffir lime, sandalwood and a dab of vanilla.

Mango & Tangerine

A classic around these parts, now in a candle and ready to make your mouth water! This is Treebrush Apothecary’s own unique take on the fragrance, with a heavy emphasis on big ripe golden mangos and a hearty sorbet kick. Sweet mango sorbet and zesty tangerine, with a subtle splash of papaya and peach.

“Peachy Keen”

A surprise contender for an absolute favourite, this big, bold, sweet nectar fragrance has been taking the lineup by storm. Notes of citrus, coconut, plum, apple, cinnamon, caramel and vanilla among all that peach goodness.

Pohutukawa

The most Kiwi of Christmas fragrances! This happy, summery, subtle fragrance will plop you by the coast, sand between your toes. The perfect balance between floral, green and woody notes that’ll remind you of lime, bamboo, cashmere, jasmine and sandalwood.

Pumpkin Spice

Right in time for spoopy season, this one is a solid nod to everything pumpkin pie. You’ll definitely get a big creamy pumpkin hit out of this one, with notes of cardamom, apple, brown sugar, vanilla, clove, cinnamon and praline.

Sandalwood

An absolute classic, and here especially for those after a “woody” fragrance. This blend is a nod to the far more expensive, rare and endangered sandalwood essential oil, with notes of amyris, cedar, amber, dark musk, orange and jasmine.

“Touch Grass”

Bring the best of outside in with this spring hit of greenery. Or, give a mate a cheeky hint with a gift. Bold lemon verbena notes with lavender, lemongrass, a sprinkle of freesia and a squeeze of grapefruit and lime zest.

“Wakey Juice”

Light it in the morning and you have yourself a mighty espresso; light it in the evening, and it’s all about tiramisu. Rich, sweet vanilla forms the body of this beast of a fragrance, chased by fresh espresso and a nip of chocolate fudge.

Candle safety:

• Always burn your candle within sight – do not leave unattended
• Keep away from drafts and vibrations
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire

Good to know:

• Keep the wick trimmed to 6mm
  • If your wick is producing a large flame or a lot of smoke, or if your wick has formed a “mushroom”, trim it down to 6mm
• Keep candle free of foreign objects, including matches and wick trimmings, and especially anything flammable
• Don’t burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time
